Lets Get Creative !
In the first part of this workshop you will be introduced to the visual language of drawing through line and mark making exercises. Learning all about our non verbal communication and how drawing is an embodied act. In the second part, we'll make our own brushes from natural materials, each person will make their own unique brushes. These brushes will be used with inks to make drawings in a very relaxed and mindful session. At the end of the workshop you will have created your very own unique art work to take home and enjoy!

Getting back to our Senses !
In this workshop we will explore our five basic senses through drawing exercises. These mindful exercises connect you to your body and the world around us. Experience the world in a much richer way and see the extraordinary in the ordinary. Drawing through the senses will allow you to access your creativity in an enjoyable way, and you’ll learn how the visual language of drawing can communicate that for which there are no words.

Getting back to Nature !
In this workshop we connect back to nature and through simple drawing exercises we return and reset ourselves to natures time. By doing this we slow down and see nature with fresh eyes, seeing new shapes and patterns and making new connections. We will immerse ourselves with nature by working up close and having a physical contact with a variety of natural objects. Accessing the unlimited creative resource that is found in nature, you will create drawings made up of lines and marks that are both rich and interesting.
This workshop is both suitable for indoors & outdoors where possible.

Drawing Connects workshop - A drawing workshop for 2nd class & upwards. Drawing teaches us to see ! Bring creativity & curiosity into the classroom with drawing.
We learn through drawing - Drawing is a great way to discover new connections, new perspectives and patterns through visual investigations. Drawing is a visual language where we can express ourselves, solve problems, plan, document and make sense of our world. Drawing is the foundational skill for all of the creative fields, as well as being the connector between all of the STEAM subjects, it is a valuable tool for our future creatives. This workshop can be tailored to fit in with the schools curriculum, a variety of subjects can be integrated into a workshop.
